They can accommodate cushions and a grommet on the side (available as Standard Specials, see p.19). Bench Cushions CUSHIONS Cushions for 21" H (561 mm) storage modules Cushions for benches • To completely cover the surface of the bench, 3 cushions are needed. Cushions from the NEX collection add a touch of comfort and refinement to a work station. Cushions for 21" H (561 mm) storage modules and for benches are 13/8" (35 mm) thick and attached using Velcro. They are available in a wide selection of upholstery; please consult www.groupelacasse.com. STORAGE FURNITURE Locks Key lock with silver accent. Identical cylinders available as an option: contact Customer Service. The lock locks all drawers or doors. No lock on the top drawer of 27" H (690 mm) storage modules and on shelves. General characteristics The different storage modules from the NEX collection can be used alone, as supports for surfaces or as occasional seats. The front panels and the doors cover the outer sides, the top and the bottom. The integrated back ensures sturdiness and provides a perfect finish. Drawers have a pencil tray, and file drawers have a suspension bar. Metal shelf option Cabinets and bookcases are available with optional metal shelves (front shelves): • Thin, ½" (12 mm) thick shelf, 15" (375 mm) deep. • Made of sturdy, 16-gauge steel. • 2 colors available: Black (K) or White (W). Cabinets with a 20" D (500 mm) open bookcase have a double back and 15" D (375 mm) metal shelves only. Handle options For the front panels of drawers of most of the storage modules, it is possible to specify the orientation of the handle curve: left, right or both (double). An asymmetrical handle lends furniture a touch of sophistication. To achieve the desired design effect, carefully select the handle orientation during specification. Drawers and file drawers • Telescopic, 16" (406 mm) full-extension slides with ball-bearing suspensions. Load capacity: 75 lb (34 kg) with slow close. • 16" W (409 mm) storage modules, with soft-close drawers. Slow-close slides. • For modules wider than 16" (409 mm), only the drawer has slow-close slides. Lateral file drawers • Double telescopic, 16" (406 mm) extension slides with ball-bearing suspensions.
