SPECIFICATIONS 14 NEX USA – SEPTEMBER 2022 APPLICATION OF TWO-TONE AND HIGH-GLOSS FINISHES ACCESSORIES Modesty panels are 14" (350 mm) in height and are installed beneath all surfaces with a short back, beneath surfaces raised with one or more struts, and beneath the return-surface of height adjustable desks with returns. They must be installed on the side opposite to the user and cannot be installed on the sides of legs. A modesty panel may be positioned anywhere, but must always be smaller in size than the desk or surface that accommodates it. Available in laminate or high-gloss black or high‑gloss white finish. MODS modesty panels • Compatible with elevated surfaces and the returns of height adjustable desks. • Silver accent fasteners. MOD modesty panels • Compatible with desks and returns with a 6" H (150 mm) back. Possible configurations: With an N5NNN-RT2472A5 desk, specify modesty panel NNNNN‑MOD1469 (full width) or NNNNN-MOD1445 (smaller size). With an N5NRN-RS2472B5 desk and an N1NRW‑UL206021BE storage module, specify modesty panel NNNNN-MOD1449. With an N5NRN-RS2472PA5 desk, specify modesty panel NNNNB-MOD1457. The slim metal leg always has a 13" (340 mm) recess. With an N5NRN-R2048A5 return and an N5NNN-RT3072A5 surface, specify modesty panel NNNNN-MOD1449. The modesty panel may be shorter or longer than the return (it is extended underneath the surface). With an N5NLN-RTL7810220FG desk, specify modesty panel NNNNN-MODS1433. To calculate the space available, refer to the section on height adjustable desks with returns, on page 9. • Clamp and grommet mount flat screen supports that are compatible with the Nex collection are available in the current Lacasse general price book. The clip fastener is not compatible with surfaces that have knife edgebanding. • Keyboard support LGC-SKD26 is not compatible with surfaces 20" (500 mm) deep. • Keyboard supports LGC-BBAKD26 and LGC-GBAKD26 are not compatible with surfaces 20" (500 mm), 24" (600 mm) and 30" (752 mm) deep. • The short and long accessory supports LGC-SUPAC_ and LGC-SUPAL_ are not compatible with surfaces and desks that have knife edgebanding. Laminate or High-Gloss Black or High-Gloss White With an N5KNN-RS3084PD6 desk and an N1NDN‑BE207227LUF storage module, specify modesty panel NNNNN-MODS1445 (or a smaller size). Two-tone laminate application: Shaded area corresponds to the first code to be specified. Second laminate code will be applied to the rest of the product. Surfaces: First finish specified will be applied to the tops and the legs. Second finish specified will be applied to the back. For height adjustable surfaces, the first finish will be applied on the top of the surface, and the second on the base. Storage modules: First finish specified will be applied to the frame, and the second to the front panel.
