SPECIFICATIONS 10 PARADIGM Panel System USA – JANUARY 2022 ELECTRIFICATION AND CABLE MANAGEMENT (cont’d) 2. Determine the power infeed. 3. Specify the number of electrical receptacles and connectors. Floor feed 3 types of base feed are available. • The infeed plugs into the receptacle location. • The plug protrudes by 1 1 / 2 " (38 mm). Connectors for electrified junctions Each powered panel comes with a power connector that enables in-line panel-to-panel connections. Powered panels separated by a junction kit or a laminate gallery end panel require additional connectors. I Circuit #1 II Circuit #2 III Circuit #3 ▲ Circuit #4 isolated and dedicated Pass-thru jumper cables for non-powered panels When planning workstations requiring the passage of power cables through one or several non-powered panel(s), it is possible to order pass-thru jumper cables according to the electrical system chosen. Duplex receptacles • Each receptacle is comprised of 2 electric outlets. • Receptacles connect to the electrical system in a tool-free installation. • Receptacles are identified by circuit: 1 to 3, or 1 to 4, according to the electrical system chosen. • The triangle indicates that the circuit is isolated and dedicated (4-circuit system only). • If you are not sure what your needs are, we suggest ordering equal quantities of the receptacles for each of the circuits: C1-C2-C3-D4. Ceiling feed • The pole with electrification is equipped with a 168" (4267 mm) flexible metal conduit suitable for installation with ceilings 144" (3657 mm) high. • The 144" (3657 mm) tall pole is used at a panel end. • The 114" (2895 mm) tall pole is used in an LTX configuration. • For a configuration at a panel end, the footprint increases by 2" (51 mm). • The pole makes it possible to separate the electrical wires from the communication cables. • The pole comes with mounting hardware for drop ceilings, for a safe installation. Hardwire base feed • Plugs into the receptacle location. • Equipped with a 72" (1829 mm) liquid tight conduit. • Plugs into a receptacle. • Equipped with a 24" (610 mm) cord. • Powers circuit No. 1 only • UL Recognized, cUL Approved. • The installation of a concealed base feed requires a non-powered panel. • Equipped with a 72" (1829 mm) flexible metal conduit. • Meets the standards of the New York City Building Code. • A Type P cover can be ordered. 20-amp plug-in base feed Concealed base feed G-connection L-connection S-connection T-connection X-connection Panel-to-panel connection (included with powered panel) 2" (51 mm) Pole
