SPECIFICATIONS 9 PARADIGM Panel System USA – FEBRUARY 2025 ELECTRIFICATION AND CABLE MANAGEMENT Here are the 4 steps in order to provide electric power to a workstation 1. Define the electrical system required, according to needs and the number of users. STEP 1: Define the electrical system required as a function of needs and the number of users. STEP 2: Determine the power infeed. STEP 3: Specify the number of electrical receptacles and connectors. STEP 4: Complete a workstation set-up with accessories. The choice of electrical system is based on the number of electrical and electronic devices to be plugged in at each workstation. An electrician is qualified to determine the power (amperage) used simultaneously and to recommend the best electrical system and the number of power sources required. The two electrical systems available connect only to 120 Volt / 60 Hertz power sources. Note: If the devices are in continuous use for more than 3 hours, as computers, lamps and screens generally are, it is recommended that the circuits be used at only 80% of their capacity. 3-circuit, 5-wire electrical system The 3 circuits are common and share the same neutral wire and the same ground wire. This modular system includes: • 3 hot wires in 12-gauge copper. • 1 common neutral wire in 10-gauge copper. • 1 common ground wire in 12-gauge copper. Compatible with single-phase and three-phase currents, respectively 240 / 120V, 208 / 120V. Based on the Canadian Electrical Code (CE Code) / National Electric Code (NEC): United States: 20-amp circuit. • 13 receptacles and a maximum of 15 amps per circuit, for a total of 39 receptacles per power source (total capacity of 60 Amps). Canada: 15-amp circuit. • Maximum of 10 receptacles per circuit, for a total of 30 receptacles per power source (total capacity of 45 Amps). If necessary or based on your needs, a 1+1 system is also available. Contact Customer Service for full details. Compatible with single-phase and triple-phase currents, respectively 240 / 120V, 208 / 120V. Based on the Canadian Electrical Code (CE Code) / National Electric Code (NEC): United States: 20-amp circuit. • 13 receptacles and a maximum of 15 amps per circuit, for a total of 52 receptacles per power source (total capacity of 80 Amps). Canada: 15-amp circuit. • Maximum of 10 receptacles per circuit, for a total of 40 receptacles per power source (total capacity of 60 Amps). If necessary or based on your needs, a 2+2 system is also available. Contact Customer Service for full details. 4-circuit, 8-wire electrical system The 4th circuit is isolated and dedicated. It has its own neutral wire and ground wire. This modular system includes: • 4 hot wires in 12-gauge copper. • 1 common neutral wire in 10-gauge copper. • 1 dedicated neutral wire in 12-gauge copper. • 2 ground wires in 12-gauge copper.
