5 Best operating management Groupe Lacasse is committed to deploying, today and tomorrow, continued efforts to protect the environment. Our factories operate an environmental management system that complies with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 standard for the management of environmental aspects and risk control related to the design and manufacture of furniture. Our Saint-Pie factories also operate a quality management system that complies with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Green Products We have a great concern for the environment and are constantly perfecting our methods to have a minimal ecological footprint. We have a Design for the Environment process, in which our product development team attaches great importance to the origin of materials, the recyclability of products, packaging and transport. We analyze the materials, consider the recycled content and the possibilities of recycling, the optimization of the product and its packaging. We are in a constant pursuit of having products that are sustainable, of excellent quality and in harmony with the environment. In the recent years, we have massively invested in our laminate factory. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery allows us to have a more efficient production, generating less waste. As for our products, they are all GREENGUARD® Gold certified for their low level of chemical emissions. In addition, most of our products are BIFMA LEVEL® 1 certified. This certification attests that our products meet various environmental and social criteria in the industry. All our products meet or exceed BIFMA standards for durability. We are also fortunate to have our laboratory certified ISO 17025; it is therefore possible for us at any time to perform performance tests on our products, to ensure that they meet the highest standards in terms of construction and safety.
