6 Responsible Shipping It is important to us to have transportation practices that are efficient and correspond to our values. Our logistics team works tirelessly to optimize the transport of goods according togeographical areas, a practice that minimizes the number of trucks used. In addition, we are working to ensure that any truck leaving our assembly sites is filled to the maximum to avoid air transport. All our lift trucks are 100% electric, reducing our carbon footprint in our facilities. All damaged wooden pallets are also upcycled into new pallets, making sure we don’t waste any shipping materials. Zero Waste Policy We strive to generate zero waste within our facilities. It is art of our supply strategy to always evaluate the old inventory’s potential, whether it’s recyclability or upcycling. We recently recycled metal, plastic and wood items representing more than 600 000$. To reduce landfill waste in the manufacturing of our products, we also provide the sawdust to a greenhouse for power cogeneration. In 2021, more than 2700 tons were given.
