7 REINVESTING IN TOMORROW Giving Back to Our Community Each year, we make it a point of giving back to our community, whether through financial contributions or furniture donations. in 2022, we contributed among others, to the Association des Stomisés Richelieu-Yamaska, the Honoré-Mercier Foundation, Maison Alcove, and Moisson Maskoutaine. We believe that it is essential—as a company— to get involved in our immediate community and to listen to our fellow citizens. That is why we are working with Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole, a non-profit organization in the greater Saint- Hyacinthe area that aims to promote the integration of immigrants into the employment sector. When we were moving our offices in 2020, we decided to upcycle the furniture and give it another life in different organizations in the region. We also managed to distribute more than 15 school backpacks filled with school furniture to Entraide Saint-Pie. For Christmas 2021, we created a fundraiser called «Opération Père Lacasse», a nod to Santa Claus, to bring Christmas gifts for families in need in our town, as well as new arrived immigrants in our region. It was truly a team effort in which all employees participated, as well as management to raise almost 3000$. We were able to make gift baskets to 15 kids as well as give gift certificates to 8 families. We are looking forward to spreading some Holiday cheer in future years!
