8 Helping the next generation of designers For more than 25 years, Groupe Lacasse has collaborated with the School of Design of the Université de Montréal. Every year, we take part in a workshop where students must develop a furniture concept. A final judging takes place to evaluate each concept and establish a winner who wins a scholarship. In 2022, the theme was Work furniture for the house – The new work-family balance. Students had to create a furniture concept adapted to houses without an office space. As every year, Groupe Lacasse and jury members were impressed by the quality of concept and innovation seen. REINVESTING IN TOMORROW
